Free Banner Maker Link

MODx makes inserting images and links around your website a breeze. But creating good-looking links that grab visitors' attention is hard to achieve without devoting some time to it.

Banner Fans is a free banner maker that lets you create image links and advertising links quickly and easily. Just type in your text, adjust the settings, and click the update button ("Update my banner").

Follow these steps to create the link in MODx:

  1. Click "Download banner" to save the image on your computer. You may try saving it in JPG, GIF, and PNG formats to see which results in a smaller file size - see my image optimization article.
  2. Insert the picture into your website in the desired spot using the MODx rich text editor ("insert/ edit image" button).
  3. Click on the picture to select it and click on the "insert/ edit link" button. You can either use the drop-down to link to another page on your website, or simply copy and paste a URL from an external website into the Link URL field.
